The Merrill Park and Recreation Department and Merrill Youth Hockey will be hosting the 5th quarter on Friday, Sept. 20, .from 8 -10:30 p.m. at the Smith Center. All kids in grades 6, 7 and 8 are invited to come out and have some fun at the Smith Center. There will be inflatables set up in the arena, along with some basketball hoops and a DJ in the multi-purpose room.
The Merrill Park and Recreation Department will enforce a dress code; no student shall be permitted to wear any clothing that contains pictures and or writing referring to alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, sexual references or innuendoes, profanity, illegal drugs and/or gangs. Students who do will be asked to turn their shirts inside out. Students who are wearing tank tops must wear a shirt over them, no skin exposed between bottom of shirt and top of pants/shorts.
The Park and Recreation Department is also looking for a few parents to come in and volunteer their time helping out with the 5th quarter. Call Dawn at 715-536-7313 if you are interested in volunteering.
Cost for the 5th quarter is $7 per student.
