Melissa Sue Lemke, age 28, of the Town of Pine River, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at Ministry Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Melissa was born March 15, 1985, in Merrill, daughter of Gary Lemke and Betsy Moritz. She was a homemaker. Melissa enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, snowmobiling, swimming, taking care of her pets, and spending time with her children.
Survivors include her fiancee, Jon Podgorski, Merrill; father, Gary Lemke, Merrill; her mother, Betsy (Mrs. Paul) Yates, Cudahy, Wisconsin; her three children, Addyson, Jacob, and Allison Podgorski, all of Merrill; three brothers, Timothy Lemke, Merrill, Steven Lemke, Cudahy, and Erick Boquist, Mercer, Wisconsin; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Town of Pine River. Pastor Susan E. Christian will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Church Cemetery, Town of Pine River. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
