Discover Downtown Merrill, in cooperation with the River District Development Foundation of Merrill, is sponsoring a fundraiser. Customers or clients of participating businesses may purchase a paper cut-out of a canoe, bicycle or hiking boot for $1. The cut-outs will then be displayed in the businesses.
All funds raised will be donation to the construction of the River Bend Trail.
Cut-outs may be purchased at: St. Vincent de Paul, Checkered Churn, Claybough & Associates, Legends, Victory Lane, Merrill House of Music, Napa Auto Parts, Once Read Book Shop, Sweeter Times, Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe, Curves, Blooming Wishes, Book World, Courtside Furniture, Champ’s, Mustard Seed, The City Center, The Cosmo, First Street Coffee Station, Foto News, Rezin Optical, Hugo’s Pizza, and Laufenberg Law Office.
All participating businesses will also have informational brochures about the trail available. The fundraiser will run through September. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help construct the River Bend Trail of Merrill.
