Jon H. Anderson Sr., 63, of Merrill, began a new journey in heaven’s eternal home on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013.
He was born on April 5, 1950, to Reino and Dorothy (Johnson) Anderson, in Rochester, NY. Jon was a mighty strong oak for his whole family. He worked for the Dansville Press in Dansville, NY, and was also a class A welder for over 30 years. Jon retired in 2012.
He is preceded in death by his father, his brother, James, and many other family members. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Mott; three sisters, Beverly (John) Barnhart, Barbara Anderson, and Gerry Shaver; brother, David Anderson; two daughters, Jenny (Daniel) Ellis, and Jane (Jerry) Kleinhans; son, Jon (Lisa) Anderson Jr.; ten grandchildren; and his close friends, Jerry and Linda.
