On Saturday, Sept. 7, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church will hold its 8th annual Sportsmen’s Banquet at Les and Jim’s Lincoln Lanes. The banquet offers many opportunities to win prizes from raffles which include; guns, outdoor gear, and cash in addition to the many door prizes. The early bird prize this year is a CZ O/U 12 Gauge Shotgun. In addition, fun funds will again be available for purchase which means $100 of yours turns into $125 of fun funds that can be used on any of the raffles. Tickets for this year’s banquet will be going on sale for the general public Aug. 1 at the Parish Office during the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
General admission tickets are $60, which includes the dinner, and a chance at over 150 door prizes, including 30 door prize guns. The corporate tickets are $300, which includes the dinner, special recognition at the banquet, a corporate ticket only gun drawing for two guns, reserved seating if requested, and a chance at all the door prizes and door prize guns. As in past years, this year’s banquet will have 55+ guns.
