Nurturing Skills for Families

Lincoln County Family Resource Center will offer “Nurturing Skills for Families” on Tuesdays from July 30-Oct. 1. The sessions will be held at the Resource Center, located in the lower level of the St. Vincent DePaul Community Care Center, 401 W. Main St., Merrill.
Children often present parents with behaviors that can be challenging.
Nurturing Skills for Families provides parents the opportunity to learn new approaches and skills that will empower parents to provide a safe and loving environment in which children can grow to be respectful and responsible adults.
Learn about the philosophy of nurturing ourselves and our children, understanding feelings, dealing with stress, positive communication, discipline without spanking, using praise effectively, identifying family rules, and understanding developmental stages. We will cover different topics each week. To get the most out of this class, attend as many sessions as possible.
No childcare is available during this program.
Call the Lincoln County Family Resource Center at 715-539-9228 to register.
