Lunch Bunch for grades 3 to 5 on Tuesday, July 9, noon to 1:15 p.m. in the community room
Live Theater on Wed., July 10, 10 a.m. – “The Caterpillar Hunter” presented by Traveling Lantern Theater Company. Based on the beloved character of the late Steve Irwin, the Caterpillar Hunter shrinks himself and sets off to explore the terrain, pursuing elusive bugs and strange herbage in the wild recesses of a common North American vegetable garden. Crikey! Join in his exciting backyard adventure! The performance in Prairie River Middle School is sponsored by BMO Harris Bank and Wisconsin Valley Library Service.
Preschool Picnic for age 2 to 5 and their guests on Thursday, July 11, at 11 a.m. – Entertainment by Joni Hahn followed by free sack lunches for registered children and their families. The event is sponsored by Waves Full Service Salon and Spa and will be held on the library west lawn.
Hobbit Party for grades 6-12 on Thursday, July 11, 1-4:30 p.m. – Teen humans and hobbits are invited to gather in the community room for Hobbit themed activities and snacks, followed by a movie, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
