Information sought on wanted Gleason man

Deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a wanted Gleason man who fled from them on Friday evening. Just before 8:30 p.m., a deputy was on patrol in Gleason when he spotted Timothy Lee Tutor outside of a residence on State Rd 17 just south of County Rd X. Knowing Tutor was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, the deputy attempted to take him into custody but Tutor fled on foot.
The K9 unit from the Tomahawk Police Department responded to the scene and deputies assisted as the dog tracked Tutor to the area of Town Hall Rd before losing the scent. Deputies suspected two Gleason residents harbored or assisted Tutor in his escape and they may be facing charges of obstructing an officer.
Tutor has been wanted by probation agents since he absconded in August of 2011, he was placed on probation after being found guilty of seven counts of failing to provide support to a child. Tutor is 49 years of age, he is 5’8″, weighs 150 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
