Library launches ?Dig into Reading? by hosting Rodeo Queens
In conjunction with Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo, T. B. Scott Free Library will once again host rodeo queens and candidates as they promote summer reading as well as the weekend rodeo. All ages are invited to gather in the library youth services department to hear them read beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, June 7.
This free event will launch the “Dig into Reading” summer youth activities at the library. Summer is a perfect time to read for fun. Youth, age 3 through grade 12, are invited to keep track of that reading beginning June 7. Reading, being read to, and listening to audiobooks all count for participation in the library’s reading programs.
More upcoming events include:
June 7-13 all day at the library – Kickoff week with reading cards available, prize drawing sign-up, and do-it-yourself activities
June 17, 6 p.m. at the library – Read to a Dog
June 18, 10 a.m. at PRMS auditorium – Doug the Jug’s Juggling Extravaganza
