Budde M. Steinbeck, age 57, died Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Budde was born January 23, 1956, in Madison, son of the late Norbert ‘Bud’ Steinbeck and the late Delores ‘Dee’ (Anderson) Steinbeck. Budde had been employed at C&H Packaging, Merrill. He enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, fishing, watching the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers, playing cribbage with his nieces and nephews, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his sister, Barb (Mrs. Kim) Schwartzman of Merrill; his brother, Don (wife, Kathy) Steinbeck of Merrill; his nieces and nephews, P.J. Steinbeck of Madison, Collette (Mrs. Kevin) Lane of Wausau, Carrie (Mrs. Richie) Robbins of Dalton, Wisconsin, and Donny Steinbeck of Eau Claire; and his grand nieces and nephews, McKenna, Hunter, Blake, Destiny, Ethan, Tristen, Madison, and Breanna. Budde is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Dee Steinbeck.
A memorial gathering of family and friends took place Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Burial of Budde’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery.
