Sheriff Jeff Jaeger would like to inform the public that construction is set to begin on the administrative entrance to his office on May 20. Rain water caused flooding into the lower level of the safety building last year and to prevent further damage the entry way on the south end of the original jail building needs to be modified. During the project, you can still walk into the Sheriff’s Office by using the jail’s public entrance door at the top of the ramp on the south side of the building; that lobby will be staffed during normal business hours during the duration of the construction. Contractors hope to have the south entry way back open by late July.
