On Saturday, April 13, Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, in the Town of Berlin, will host the Wisconsin River Valley LWMS (Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society) Circuit Spring Rally. Registration will be at 9 a.m., followed with open devotions by Pastor Jeffrey Schmidt of Trinity. These devotions will be followed by the business meeting where the election of Board Members will take place. Following the meeting, Pastor Hue Yang of Mountain of the Lord from Wausau, will speak on the topic “Speaking the Truth in Love to the Hmong.” Following a break for lunch, the afternoon speaker will be Tom Walters of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, Eden Prairie, MN. His topic will be “Speaking the Truth in Love to Mormons.” Following this topic, Pastor James Douglas of St. Paul, Wisconsin Rapids will host the installation of officers. Pastor Robert Rombert from Emmanuel, Stratford, will conduct the closing devotions. Adjournment will be approximately 2:45 p.m.
