Worker injured at PCA Tomahawk Mill

On Tuesday, March 5, at 9:41 a.m., deputies along with Tomahawk EMS and Fire Department responded to the Packaging Corporation of America Mill, N9090 County Rd. E, Tomahawk, Town of Bradley, after a 911 call reported an employee was injured.
The victim was brought to Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital with severe burns. He was transported by ambulance to the Tomahawk Regional Airport where a fixed wing medical plane was waiting to fly him to the burn unit at U.W. Madison Hospitals and Clinics.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office completed their investigation at the scene and turned it over to PCA Officials.
As of Sunday, the victim, identified as Michael Slesicki, 53, of Tomahawk, remained in critical condition in the burn unit at UW Madison Hospital.
