William C. Frederick, age 63, of Merrill, died Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Marywoood in Wausau.
Bill was born November 19, 1948, in Merrill, son of the late Charles and Gladys (Piske) Frederick. He married Roberta J. Kadulski on June 16, 1973, and she preceded him in death on November 6, 2007. Bill was a former maintenance supervisor for St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill, and later was a truck driver. He drove truck for Krueger Wholesale Florist, and most recently for Burgener Contract Carriers of Merrill. Bill enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, and woodworking. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was stationed in Germany.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Anne Frederick, Merrill; one son, William Peter “Bill” Frederick, Virginia Beach, Virginia; one granddaughter, Dayton Rayne Frederick, Merrill; one sister, Barbara Novick, Mesa, Arizona; and one brother, Peter (wife, Sheila) Frederick, Merrill. Besides his parents and wife, Bill is preceded in death by a son, Charlie, in 1974; and a brother, Patrick Frederick.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Bloomville. Father John Anderson will preside. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Town of Schley, with graveside military rites conducted by the Merrill V.F.W. Post 1638 Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the church, and again after 9:00 AM Saturday also at the church.
