Ruth E. Mueller, age 88, of Merrill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2012.
Ruth was born August 29, 1923, in the Town of Corning, Lincoln County, daughter of the late Gustav and Elsie (Berndt) Krause. Ruth worked at the former Ward Paper Company for 30 years. She was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. Ruth lived in Merrill all her life. She truly enjoyed living in her home from 1964 until just recently; her home was her pride and joy.
Ruth is survived by her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Mueller, of Madison; two grandsons, Scott (Gina) Mueller, of Madison, and Todd (Aimee) Mueller, of Green Bay; four great-grandchildren, Grace, Josie, Joseph, and Max Mueller, all of Madison; and one sister-in-law, Lynette Krause, of Wausau. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ray Mueller; three brothers, Elmer, Ferdinand, and Lavern Krause; and one niece, Eunice Hudzinski.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2012, at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, Merrill. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Town of Corning. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
