Marion J. Kimmins, age 76, of Merrill, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
Marion was born July 24, 1935, in Merrill, daughter of the late Rhino and Erna (Latzig) Streich. She married James E. Kimmins on June 4, 1955, in Merrill. He survives. Marion was a homemaker. She enjoyed picture puzzles, baking cookies and giving them away as treats, and cooking.
Survivors include her husband James E. Kimmins, Merrill; daughter, Susan (Andy) Norris, Brighton, MI; (2) sons, Dennis (Christine) Kimmins, and Brad Kimmins, both of Merrill; (8) grandchildren, Brandon, Amanda, and Lynsey Kimmins, Quinn and Brenna Norris, Greg and Nicole Kimmins, and Ian Norris; and (2) great grandchildren, Gage and Dominic. Marion is preceded in death by (7) siblings.
The funeral is 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. James Weiland is officiating. Burial to follow in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation 4-8 P.M. Monday, Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at church.
