Glorian Mae Klempke

Glorian Mae “Babe” (Litke) Klempke, age 75, of Merrill, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 at Hospice House in Wausau, surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Glorian was born Oct. 21, 1936 in Merrill, the daughter of the late Henry H. and Elsie J. (Neumann) Litke. Glorian and William Klempke were united in marriage Dec. 31, 1954 in Tomahawk, he preceded her in death.
Glorian had worked as a cook at the Lincoln County Jail for many years and also at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory Outlet Store for 10 years. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, collecting angels, butterflies, cardinals, fishing, pontoon boat rides, motorcycling and she was a huge Packer fan. Glorian was a member of St. Stephens Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons: Marie (Laurence) Kleinschmidt, Kathryn (Ralph) Nebel, Deborah (Thomas) Schulz, Michael (Sandra) Klempke, and Daniel (Jonnie) Klempke; sisters Dorothy Drew, and Betty (Theodore) Baumann, all of Merrill; six grandchildren, Nicole (Kevin) Koelsch, Sara (John) Joyner, Kyle Kleinschmidt, Jonathon, Daniel, and Jessica Klempke, all of Merrill; seven great grandchildren, Makayla Nicole Marie and Kody William Koelsch, Isabella Lee, Cole William and Kelcee Ann Schoerner, Noah John Joyner and Christopher Michael Klempke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, brothers, Harold and Robert Litke, and sister Henrietta Schroeder, and great granddaughter Bailee Mae Koelsch.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ. Visitation will be at the church, 10 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Jack Kraaz will officiate, burial will be at Merrill Memorial Park.
