Nancee Lee Sullivan, 63, Merrill, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born Oct. 23, 1947 in Merrill to Howard and Sylvia (Scheu) Madson. She married Daniel Sullivan on Oct. 3, 1970 in Merrill.
Nancee was a 1965 graduate of Watersmeet High School, Watersmeet, MI. She attended college in St. Louis, MO. Nancee worked at Pine Crest Nursing Home for many years in the payroll department. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Nancee was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Sullivan, Merrill; father, Howard ‘Jim’ Madson, Watersmeet, MI; children, Jason Sullivan, Kenosha, Jami (Christopher) Mustacci, Madison, and Ryan Sullivan, Oshkosh; sisters, Kay (Siegfried) Lenk, Wausau, Linda Madson, Rapid River, MI, and Ellen (John) Sjogren, Gladstone, MI; grandchildren, Adrian and Dominic Mustacci; special friend, Patsy Neumann and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of the resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Fr. Mike McLain will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday before the service at Waid Funeral Home.
The family requests donations be made to Aspirus Hospice or for Breast Cancer Research.
