Lincoln resumes window production in tornado damaged plant

Five short weeks after an EF3 tornado severely damaged its final assembly facility, Lincoln Windows is pleased to announce that shipments of product have resumed.
This past week has seen the return of all plant employees and the first truck to leave the facility since the tornado hit on April 10. While the plant and corporate offices will continue to be repaired over the next 4-6 weeks, all departments will be fully operational during this period.
“It’s been through the efforts of many individuals that we have been able to resume production so soon after the tornado hit our community,” said Steve Kahle in a press release. “Lincoln is extremely proud of its employees and we are very appreciative of our vendors and customers who have supported us while our production was down. We look forward to being able to continue Jane Bierman’s legacy of excellence for generations to come.”
