Ministry/ Good Samaritan Volunteers present a $2,500 donation to Merrill United Ways’ STORM MATCH. The mission of the Volunteers at Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill is to support hospital patients, staff and the community. The group has 144 men and women volunteers. The STORM MATCH Fund provides up to $10,000 to match community and individual donations. All funds will help those folks affected by the April 10 tornado. All the contributions plus the matching funds will support the short-term service work of the following grateful United Way partners: St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Center, Salvation Army, Northcentral Community Action Program, Merrill Community Food Pantry, and the American Red Cross.
