Merrill High School student Annie DeBroux has won 1st place for the State of Wisconsin’s Ladies Auxiliary Patriotic Art contest. DeBroux collected first prize of $1,000 and advances to Nationals. National deadline is May 5, judging will take place shortly after that. DeBroux was the winner of the local level contest, sponsored by the Post 1638 Auxiliary of Merrill.
