Last year, hundreds of volunteers joined in Merrill’s efforts to Make A Difference. People of all ages came together to help those within the community that needed a helping hand.
Merrill’s 15th annual Make A Difference Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, with check-in from 8:30-8:45 a.m. in the Prairie River Middle School cafeteria. Projects will run from 9 a.m. until noon. Lunch at the middle school will follow for all volunteers.
If you NEED help, you can still register for Make A Difference Day by calling Linda Becker at 873-4564 or Meredith Prebeg at RTL Electric Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-3 pm at 715-536-7927. On-site registration is available for volunteers, but registering in advance is helpful.
Volunteers from previous years are asked to wear their Make A Difference Day T-shirts.
