Park City Credit Union promotes Jack Mikunda

Park City Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Jack Mikunda to Executive Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Mikunda had been serving as Vice President/Branch Manager of the Tomahawk office. He originally joined Park City Credit Union as a loan officer for the Tomahawk branch in October of 1983. He later became an assistant manager for Tomahawk, then branch manager of the Minocqua office. In the late ’80s, he moved back to Tomahawk as a branch manager there, and was promoted to a Vice President shortly thereafter. Jack has also served as a branch coordinator.

In his new role, EVP Mikunda oversees collections, compliance, IT, and corporate real estate. He’s based in Merrill, and reports to the CEO/President, Val Mindak. President Mindak cited Mikunda’s vast knowledge of the credit union and its branches as the ideal attributes for this new position. “This is just the kind of leadership we need to have as we continue to grow,” she stated.

“It’s exciting to take the next step and do something different, though I’m going to miss the personal end,” said Mikunda. “Over the past 20 years, my contact has been primarily with members. I’m happy to have helped many people with loans and other financial needs over the years, but now I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the executive team at Park City Credit Union.

Park City Credit Union has grown to over $120 million in assets and a member- owned financial cooperative providing financial services to over 22,000 members who live or work in Lincoln, Oneida, Vilas, Iron, Price, Taylor, and Marathon Counties, as well as parts of Langlade County. Branches are located in Merrill, Tomahawk, Minocqua, and Rhinelander, as well as a student branch at the Merrill High School.
