Report of stereo, satellite radio receiver & sunglasses stolen from vehicle parked overnight at Superior St. residence.

Car entered, change stolen & center console damaged while parked overnight at W. 4th St. residence.

September 4

Reported theft of battlefield cross from soldier’s grave at Merrill Memorial Park, cross was returned to the cemetery on Sept. 5, appeared undamaged, returned to soldier’s mother.

September 5

Tire found slashed on vehicle parked overnight at E. 7th St. residence.

5:39 p.m.- Semi truck struck & knocked down stoplight at E. Main St. & Pine Ridge Ave. while turning, DOT notified.

September 6

9:59 a.m.- Male driver cited for unsafe backing after he backed into another vehicle at Cleveland & 4th sts.

11:49 a.m.- Two vehicles collided in uncontrolled intersection at 8th & Cedar sts, male driver cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Reported theft of amp, subwoofer & golf disks from a vehicle parked at an E. 1st St. residence.

6:40 p.m.- Man arrested for retail theft, disorderly conduct & bail jumping after stealing two bags of shrimp & a bottle of alcohol from Drew’s Piggly Wiggly, a store manager chased the suspect down & held him until police arrived.

September 7

Numerous items reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a Cottage St. residence.

September 8

GPS united reported stolen from vehicle parked on Cedar St.

5:20 p.m.- Police went to an E. 2nd St. apartment looking for a wanted man, as they were approaching the apartment they heard him tell his girlfriend to say he wasn’t there, which she did. The man was found hiding in a closet & arrested at taser point. The girlfriend was cited for obstructing an officer.

September 9

12:33 a.m.- Man arrested on probation violation for drinking. He had reportedly been at a Wisconsin St. residence, harassing another man who called police when he’d had enough.
