Reported theft of tools from a garage on N. State St., missing items included a miter saw, drill & chainsaw.
July 17
2:09 a.m. – fight reported at downtown tavern, one of combatants later located & cited for DC.
2:10 p.m.- vehicle struck stop sign at Grand Ave. & Genesee St., shearing it off, driver moved sign out of street & left scene, cited for hit & run to property,
3:45 p.m.- boy reported seeing what he thought was a cougar in the area of Milwaukee & Foster sts., officer couldn’t find tracks in area.
July 18
7:28 p.m.- 17-year-old male arrested for DC & criminal damage to property after causing damage to his home during an argument with his mother.
July 19
Vandalism discovered to pump house & grave stones at St. Francis Cemetery.
A cell phone was reported stolen from the locker room at the outdoor pool.
July 20
10:45 p.m.- vehicle driving southbound in the northbound lanes of Hwy. 51 pulled over just north of Cty. H, driver arrested for OWI & driving wrong way on a divided highway.
Report of laptop computer stolen from vehicle parked at a W. Jackson St. residence.
July 21
7:33 p.m.- man charged with domestic DC after an altercation with family members over his prescription drug problem, he was taken to Ministry Good Samaritan & found to have too much medication in his system, he was taken to Ministry St. Joseph’s for detox.
July 22
7:34 p.m.- The Lincoln County Special Response Team was called to assist with a man who was making threats to harm himself & wouldn’t come out of his residence, he was taken into custody by the SRT & booked into jail on a probation hold.
