Drunk driver with munchies also faces drug charges

A 20-year old Wausau man was arrested Saturday night after a stop at a fast food restaurant led to traffic and drug charges.

Employee’s of KFC / Taco Bell on County Road W in the Town of Pine River called 911 after a customer in the drive through was so intoxicated they could not understand his take out order. A deputy found the vehicle as it left the parking lot and stopped it on County Road W near Deer Run Road.

Nicholas D. Wisler-Zajackowski was asked to perform field sobriety tests, as a result of those tests he was taken into custody on a first offense charge of operating while intoxicated. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after the drug and a pipe were found. Wisler-Zajackowski and his 21- year old passenger were also cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Wisler-Zajackowski was booked into the Lincoln County Jail and later released to a responsible party after posting bond.
