Tickets are available now for the 2nd annual Lincoln County Humane Society raffle. Fundraising activities such as this raffle are critically important to the Lincoln County Humane Society, because over two-thirds of the shelter’s operating budget comes from private donations, and one-third comes from municipalities and a portion of dog license fees.
Winning tickets will be drawn on Aug. 14. Winners need not be present to win. This year’s raffle features the following great prizes: 1st Prize is a 37″ 1080p LCD HDTV, 2nd Prize is a new Toshiba Laptop, 3rd Prize is a special edition Nintendo Wii System.
Tickets are on sale at the Lincoln County Humane Society and Associated Bank in Merrill. In Tomahawk, they are available at the Cheese Shop on Main Street. Tickets may also be purchased from any LCHS Board member.
LCHS staff and volunteers will be selling tickets at all the LCHS booths at the following events: Lincoln County Fair, Crazy Daze, and the 9th annual “Cruizin’ for Critterz” Poker Run on Aug. 14.
