VFW Teacher of the Year
Schmitt-Manecke Donner VFW Post 1638 and Auxiliary of Merrill recognized the winner of the Teacher of the Year. The award was based on how the teacher shares patriotism with their fellow students and the community. The 2011-2012 VFW Teacher of the Year are Diane Schult from Trinity Lutheran School was selected in the K – 4th Grade Category and Linda DeBroux from Merrill High School was selected in the 9th-12th Grade Category.
