“Name it! Claim it! Stop it!” Peer Players at Prairie River Middle School are a grant-funded drama troupe who develop their own skits and present them during Morning Meetings at grades 6, 7, and 8. This year’s theme is anti-bullying. Peer Players teach classmates how to identify, prevent, and stop bully and bystander behaviors using “Name it! Claim it! Stop it!” scenarios. While most students don’t bully; Peer Players help stop those who do. They remind bystanders to intervene and victims to report bully behavior to teachers, school counselors, or principals. 2010-2011 PRMS Peer Players are listed in the attached photo.
