Scott G. Williamson
The funeral for Scott Gerald Williamson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel in downtown Rochester, MN. Celebration of his life will follow at 1:45 p.m. at Meadow Lakes Senior Living dining room, Rochester.
Scott Williamson, 42, died unexpectedly Feb. 7, 2013 in Rochester.
He was born Sept. 15, 1970 in Lake Forest, IL, to Gerald and Donna (Zimmer) Williamson. He graduated from Merrill High School in 1989. On Sept. 23, 1995 he married Kjersten Leigh (Hagedorn) Williamson in Wausau. They became parents to two children.
Scott, was a devoted father and husband, worked most recently as Product Development Manager for Halcon of Stewartville, MN. Previously, he worked in product design at Sunrise Medical of Stevens Point, Benchmark Electronics of Rochester, MN and Hardcore Computer of Rochester, MN. Scott boasts several national design awards and patents.
He is survived by his father Gerald of Rochester, formerly of Merrill, wife Kjersten, son Nicholas and daughter Elisabeth all of Rochester, formerly of Wausau and Stevens Point, and sister Dawn (Williamson) Burgess of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Merrill. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna, formerly of Merrill.
