Dillon S. Cannon

Dillon S. Cannon, age 21, of Merrill, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012.
Dillon was born April 10, 1991, in Wausau, son of Kathy (Schneider) (Cannon) Pepke and Brad Cannon. Dillon was currently employed at Schulz’s Recycling, Merrill. Previously, Dillon had worked on oil field rigs in the Dakota’s, Virginia, and other rigs throughout the Midwest. He enjoyed hunting, racing his 4-wheeler, playing cards, bowling, archery, dart ball, and spending time with his friends.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy (Brad) Pepke, Merrill; his father, Brad (Jeanette) Cannon, Merrill; one sister, Jamie Rotell, Richland Center, WI; three brothers, Tyler Cannon, Daniel Pepke, and Matthew Rotell, all of Merrill; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Dorothy Schneider, Merrill; and aunts and uncles, Gary (Lisa) Schneider, Edgar, and Barb (Doug) Plautz, Ken Schneider, Donna Plautz, and Lorri (Leroy) Vandre, all of Merrill. Dillon is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Lorretta Cannon.
Dillon’s funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. Nathan Kramer will officiate. Burial will take place in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:30 A.M. Monday at the church.
