Andrew Sullivan

Andrew Sullivan, 84, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born June 27, 1928 to Andrew Sr. and Elizabeth (Johnson) Sullivan in Thomas, West Virginia. Andrew was joined in marriage to Elizabeth Closterman, who preceded him in death November 7, 1995. He enjoyed camping, especially at Newwwood Park. Andrew was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 584, the Knights of Columbus, and the North Country Riders Motorcycles Club. He was also proud to have served the Baltimore community as a Volunteer Firefighter for 40 years.
Andrew is survived by his fiancé Veleeta Wenzlick, two daughters Charlene Mitchell of Baltimore, Maryland and Karen (George) Moyer of Baltimore, Maryland, two step-sons Tom (Brenda Kunde) Wenzlick of Madison and Ralph Wenzlick of Tomahawk, four step-daughters Terri (Paul) Phillips of Virginia, Karen (Charles) Brock of Merrill, Wendy (Elroy) Wiesman of Merrill, and Debbie Wenzlick of Merrill; two foster sons Arthur (Sharon) Smith of Baltimore, Maryland and Henrey “Hank” (Barbara) Bie of Merrill, nine grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren, one brother Robert (Gloria) Sullivan of Cumberland, Maryland, and  one brother-in-law Gary Closterman of Baltimore, Maryland.
He was preceded on death by his parents, his wife Elizabeth, his son Randy, two step-sons Jeff Wenzlick and Kevin Wenzlick, a step-daughter Janice Moser, two step-great-grandchildren Kendel and Keaton, his sister Marie, and three brothers John, Joseph, and Frank.
Memorial services will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, Merrill. Pastor Don Entenman officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association,  Diabetes Foundation, or the National Kidney Foundation are appreciated.   Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family.
