Edward W. Savaske
Edward W. Savaske, age 69, of Tomahawk, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, under hospice care at Golden Age Nursing Home after battling a long illness.
Ed was born April 6, 1943, in Merrill to the late William and Marie (Schwab) Savaske. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing bingo and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughters, Janice, Joyce, Jody, and Jill; sisters, Delores (Richard) King of Tomahawk and Doris (Paul) Arseneau, Jr. of Merrill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie Savaske; brother Kenneth Savaske; sister Diane Bushar; and son James Savaske.
Funeral service will be held 12pm, Tuesday December 4, 2012, at Waid Funeral Home. The Rev. Pastor Scott Gustafson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Merrill Memorial Park. The Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
