Ethel E. Malzahn

Ethel E. Malzahn, age 73, of Merrill, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at Pine Crest Nursing Home.
Ethel was born July 8, 1939, in Wabeno, Wisconsin, daughter of the late David and Opal (Wilson) Adams. She married James R. Malzahn in 1957. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2009. Ethel was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, caring for the birds, cooking, raising flowers, country and western music, and time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Wagoner of Merrill; (4) sons, Randy (wife, Karen) Malzahn, Merrill, Tony Malzahn (with Peggy Bowen) of Merrill, Tim (wife, Karyl) Malzahn of Merrill, and Adam ( wife, Chandra) Malzahn, of Wausau; (13) grandchildren; (9) great grandchildren; (2) sisters, Mildred Kegley of Crandon, and Dawn (Mrs. Ron) Cook of Lake Tomahawk; and (1) brother, Tom (wife, Valerie) Adams, Wisconsin. Besides her husband and parents, Ethel is preceded in death by (1) sister, Alma Torgeson, and (1) brother, William Adams.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. David Szeto will officiate. Burial will take place in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, and after 9:30 A.M. Tuesday all at the funeral home.
