Pudelko announces write-in campaign for county clerk
Sheila Pudelko, incumbent Lincoln County Clerk, has announced her intention to run as a write-in candidate for the Lincoln County Clerk position in the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.
Pudelko, who lives in the Harrison Hills area, was defeated in the Aug. 14 Republican primary by challenger Chris Marlowe of Merrill by a 1,678-1,472 vote. Marlowe's name is the only one that will appear on the Nov. 6 ballot, as there is no Democratic candidate for the position.
Pudelko was appointed by the Lincoln County Board in November 2010 to serve out the remainder of the term vacated by the death of then-incumbent Robert Kunkel. Pudelko had previously served 27 years as clerk/treasurer for the village of Rothschild.
