NTC Criminal Justice Club donates to community causes
The Northcentral Technical College Criminal Justice Club partners with IGA in Rib Mountain to collect Turkey Stamps. For every $5 in purchases, the customer gets 1 stamp. When you fill up a card, which holds 120 tickets, you receive a free turkey or a gift card for IGA. With the help from the surrounding communities the club collected enough stamps for 100 turkeys or gift cards.
The Criminal Justice Club has decided to add Merrill to its efforts this year. The club donated cat and dog food to the Lincoln County Humane Society, Turkeys to HAVEN and non-perishable food items and turkeys to the Merrill Community Food Pantry.
"We figured seeing NTC is becoming a constant part of the Merrill area we should work together to help others who need it," said club vice president Naomi Grovenberg of Merrill.
The club also donated to organizations in Wausau such as the Salvation Army, Marathon County Humane Society, The Women's Community, Neighbors Place and others.
