Two injured in bus v. pickup crash
On Tuesday Feb. 26, at 4:08 p.m. a crash occurred on Lake Nokomis Rd. at Spillman Rd. in Oneida County.
Assisting agencies included Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, Oneida County Ambulance, and Nokomis Fire Department.
According to a report from the Wisconsin State Patrol, a pickup driven by a 64 year old male pulled out from a private driveway and was struck by a school bus. The pickup driver and a boy from the bus were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk.
The bus driver and the other children were not injured and the children were released to their parents.
The Wisconsin State Patrol investigated the crash.
