Contraband found in MHS lockers

Officers of the Merrill Police Department conducted a canine search of the lockers at the Merrill High School Monday with the assistance of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department, The Wausau Police Department and the Everest Metro Police
Department.

According to a report from Merrill police, cigarettes, lighters, marijuana, prescription medications and a knife were located in various lockers. The investigation is ongoing.
