Mobile home damaged by fire
On Wednesday at 11:27 a.m. the Lincoln County 911 Dispatch Center received a call of a mobile home on fire at N3469 Pier St. in the town of Merrill.
Merrill Fire Department, Pine River Fire Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a salamander type heater being used on the outside of the trailer to thaw frozen pipes.
There was extensive damage to the mobile home.
