Seven enter race for Merrill School Board seats
Seven candidates are vying for three seats on the Merrill Area Public Schools Board of Education.
Incumbent Meridith Prebeg is not seeking re-election. Incumbents Chuck Bolder and LIN Kautza are seeking re-election and are joined on the ballot by challengers Norbert “Nubs” Ashbeck, Vicki Lindstrom, John Shull, Linda Yingling and Jeffrey Verdoorn.
A Feb. 19 primary election will cull the field to six candidates. The general election will be held April 2. School board members serve three-year-terms.
