Arrests made in Tomahawk
On Sept. 11, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Tomahawk Police Department, Merrill Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Department of Corrections conducted an operation in Northern Lincoln County to include the city of Tomahawk, that focused on an increase in patrol activity, probation enforcement, and the use of resources such as K-9 handlers from the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office, Wausau Police Department, Shawano County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.
As a result of the combined efforts the following individuals were taken into custody: Scott A. Hoffman, 42, Tomahawk, Illegal Possess/Obtain Prescription and Open Intox; Justice Scott Stadler, 17, Tomahawk, Possess THC with intent to deliver and paraphernalia at a park; Marsha Ann Welsch, 28, Tomahawk, Probation Violation; Anna Rose Ingman, 32, Tomahawk, Probation Violation; Scott Christopher Platke, 51, Tomahawk, Probation Violation; Edward Joseph Jural, 21, Tomahawk, Probation Violation; Arthur Robert Wilberding, 43, Tomahawk, Probation Violation; Gary Keith Belling, 25, Tomahawk, Probation Violation and Possession of THC; Brad Richard Weber, 48, Tomahawk, Probation Violation.
