Snowmobile trails to open
All of Lincoln County’s state-funded snowmobile trails will be open for the season as of noon on Friday, Jan. 27, according to the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department.
Zone 2 snowmobile trails designated for winter ATV use will remain closed to ATV use until noon on Friday, Feb. 3. Trails are closed to ATVs when the temperature is above 28 degrees.
Riders are asked to stay on marked trails and use caution when riding as some areas will still be rough, especially in open farm country, the city of Merrill, and wetland areas in Zone 2.
