City reviewing administrator applicants
The City of Merrill Mayoral Selection Committee for the City Administrator position met Monday evening.
Applications for the Merrill City Administrator position were reviewed and some preliminary background checks considered. Further background checks are being done on applicants.
It is anticipated that another meeting will be scheduled within the next month as the process continues. Mayor Bill Bialecki emphasized that the committee will take its time in making any recommendation.
“This is an important position and we are going to take our time to make sure we have the best possible candidates for the next step in the process,” he said.
