Zumba fitness class at Immanuel Lutheran Church
Immanuel Lutheran Church is hosting a six week session of Zumba Fitness classes at its location at N1660 Leafy Grove Road on Tuesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. starting on Jan. 8, 2013. Everyone is welcome.
"We are so excited to be able to offer a Zumba class here at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Corning," says Pastor Joel Danner of Immanuel. "For one, it is a wonderful opportunity for us to be more visible in our community. But even more importantly, it also helps us to care for the physical needs of people as well as their spiritual needs. This will be a truly enjoyable and beneficial experience for everyone involved."
Zumba is a cardio workout done to Latin rhythms like salsa and merengue. These high-energy classes are filled with easy to follow moves that make working out so much fun you could feel like you're at a party.
Cost for a single class is $4 or you may purchase a 6 class punch card for $22.50. Participants should wear supportive shoes with smoother treads and bring along a water bottle.
