Young artists present 'Art from the Heart' to benefit food bank
"Art from the Heart 2012," an art exhibition fundraiser featuring the original works of 12 young artists, will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, from 2-4 p.m. at Thelma's & The Guy's Shop, 1025 E. Main St., Merrill.
All art may be purchased for a cash donation of any amount. The artists will be present to talk about and sign their work. Cookies, bars and hot apple cider will be available.
Free-will donations of cash or non-perishable food items will be collected at the treat table.
The artists will be giving all food and money donations to the Trinity Open Hands Food Bank. Additional funding is being provided by Thrivent Financial.
