The Beacon offers samples to benefit the Humane Society
The Beacon Discount Liquor and The Beacon Catering is hosting a tasting event on Sunday, Dec. 9 to benefit the Lincoln County Humane Society. Wines, ciders, bourbons, craft beers, liquors and cream-based drinks will be available for sampling. Company representatives will be on hand to answer questions. All items are available for purchase at The Beacon Discount Liquor Store. Sample items will also be offered from The Beacon Catering.
The event will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at The Beacon Bar, on the corner of Joe Snow & Fairview Road, Merrill. Admission is $10 or the equivalent in supplies for the Lincoln County Humane Society. The Humane Society's wish list includes bleach, gift cards, laundry detergent, hand soap/hand sanitizer, kitty litter (non-clumping), dish soap. garbage bags (large kitchen size, or 33 gal size), dog and cat rood (wet and dry), latex gloves, leashes and collars.
