Clarinet Swing Kings coming to Merrill
Join the Merrill Area Concert Association (MACA) for their first concert of the 2012-2013 season and get ready to swing. This show will appear in Merrill, at the Merrill High School auditorium on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. America's young star of swing clarinet, Dave Bennett, leads piano, string bass, guitar, drums and vocals to bring you the hits of the great clarinetists. Acclaimed for his Benny Goodman tribute, he now salutes such greats as Artie Shaw, Jimmy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Pete Fountain, Acker Bilk and of course, Goodman.

The remaining performances in the MACA 2012-2013 season are: George Dyer Christmas--Friday Dec. 14; Feast - Celtic Music from the Rocky Mountains - Friday, Feb. 22; Ilya Yakushav - Saturday, March 2; and Take Me Home - The music of John Denver-Tuesday, April 30. All shows start at 7 p.m.
