Associated Bank in Merrill hosts holiday food drive
The Associated Bank branch on Main Street in Merrill will host a holiday food drive from Nov. 19 to Dec. 21. During the holiday food drive the branch will collect nonperishable food items to donate to The Merrill Community Food Pantry.
"As a branch we find it extremely gratifying to give back to our community in any way possible," said Jo Waltenberg, branch manager, Associated Bank. "Our goal is to help those in need during this holiday season. Everyone deserves to have a warm meal no matter what their situation is and we along with community members would like to fulfill that need."
In celebration of the holiday season, Santa will be visiting the branch on Friday Nov. 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. A professional photographer from Photography by Tina will be available to community members who would like their photo taken with Santa. During this time the photographer will offer special holiday savings on holiday photos, cards and unique holiday gifts to those donating nonperishable items. All children will receive a "surprise" from Santa and Associated Bank.
