'Art from the Heart' a success
Because of the generous donations of so many people, the Art from the Heart artists collected 58 non-perishable food items and $,1627.50 (plus an additional $125 that Thrivent Financial will be contributing), all of which they presented directly to the Trinity Open Hearts Food Bank which serves the entire Merrill community. "Art from the Heart 2012," an art exhibition fundraiser featuring the original works of 12 young artists, was held Saturday, Dec. 1, at Thelma's & The Guy's Shop, Merrill. Art was available for purchase for a cash donation of any amount.
