Merrill Cub Scouts compete at district Pinewood Derby
The 2013 Northwoods District Pinewood Derby was hosted by Pack 564 on March 9 at Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Elementary School. The top six winners from all Packs in the Northwoods were invited to attend, and trophies were awarded for places 1st through 6th. Medals were awarded based on car design, and all competitors received a special patch.

Merrill Scouts who placed in the race were: 2nd Place - Jacob Schnabl, Pack 503; and
5th Place - Gabriel Durbin, Pack 502. Design winners from Merrill were: Most Original - Jacob Schnabl, Pack 503; Judge’s Favorite - Gabriel Durbin, Pack 502; Best Scout Theme - Zach Kriegel, Pack 599; and Most Imaginative - Matthew Steffen, Pack 599.
